ATTENTION:

In an effort to streamline our operations and reduce turnaround time, the City of Hialeah Gardens has partnered with Lien Library, Inc., a digital lien search processing platform, to manage and process all lien and permit searches.

Effective April 15, 2024, requests for lien searches, code violations, water & sewer debts, and open/expired permit searches must be made via the Lien Library platform. Fees must be paid online at time of request. Please, note, our fee schedule has changed.

THE NEW FLAT FEE FOR ALL LIEN & PERMIT SEARCHES IS $325

Please follow the steps below to submit your lien and permit search requests directly through the Lien Library platform.

  1. Visit https://www.lienlibrary.com
  2. Create a new account or log in to your existing account
  3. Enter the property address for which you require a lien search
  4. Pay corresponding fee via preferred online payment option
  5. Submit your request for processing
  6. Check your account dashboard for status

The report generated by Lien Library will include recorded liens, code violations, water & sewer debt, a detailed account ledger, and record of any open or expired permits.
