The State of Florida's Live Local Act, which became effective July 1, 2023, contains comprehensive legislation intended to incentivize the development of affordable housing across the state of Florida.

Section 166.0451, Florida Statutes requires that municipalities in the State of Florida prepare an inventory list of all real property within its jurisdiction that is appropriate for use as affordable housing.

City Staff has reviewed the inventory of City-owned property, and has determined that the City does not currently own any property that is appropriate for use as affordable housing.
